Hi all. I've received emails and a couple PM's asking where I am. Well, I arrived back home a bit after midnight Monday. Yesterday was simply a rest day, or as much as possible. Today has been busy but I just had to get back on the forum. For those who do not know, I was crewing for a 4-man team in Race Across AMerica (RAAM). I left home on 6/7, flying to Baltimore. Picked up a rental motor home north of the city and drove it to Oceanside, CA. That is where the race started and it ended in Annapolis at the City Dock. Monday I returned the RV after driving almost 6,000 miles in it then returned home. I almost did not get home that day because of some screwed up flights but a miracle happened and I got to finally spend the night in my own bed again. I've sent an email to several folks who were interested in the trip and if anyone else would like a copy of that, please send me (PM) your email address and I'll happily send you a copy. Naturally there is so much I could write about the experience it would take up enough to write a book but I try to give some of the highlights and even some low lights. It's good to be back again.
