I recently cleaned out my stove and found this piece of metal in the ashes. My stove is a Pacific Energy Alderlea T5. I looked in the manual at the exploded view but could not figure out what this goes to.
It's the baffle pin. If you look in the upper back of the firebox you will see a hole on the baffle tab. The pin goes in there. The shiny end goes in the hole and the blackened L part is exposed in the firebox. Insert until the L part is flush with the tab.
