Great looking stove. I remember a couple of years ago when I heard Thelin was working on this. Definitely post pics when it is fired up! Good luck with it - I had a 3000 Parlor and I still rave about it.

Very attractive stove! Not sure if white would be my first color choice though. I'd be interested in hearing how easy it is to keep clean. (I'm female. I'm the one who'd end up cleaning it so this aspect is important to me. Don't shoot!)

White wasn't my first choice, either, but it was the only color my wife really liked. A week or so ago I posted a question about whether white was a good color for a pellet stove and I didn't get any response so we got a white one too. I really like the looks of your Echo, I guess because it looks so much like the Empress. I didn't even know the Thelin Echo existed until you posted this thread.

Out of curiosity - how has the Echo performed so far this season? Is it up to expectations? Have you taken any pictures of it burning, and if so, could you post them?l

This was the best investment we ever made. The stove worked with out incident the entire season and boy were we HOT! it heated the entire upstairs of our home the heat went right down the hall to the bedrooms. So much in fact that I had to keep my bed room door closed during the day so we could breath at night. It was extremely efficient and our electric bill was EXTREMELY low. I am looking to buy another stove for the downstairs and I fear I may be shelling out another big chunk of change to go with the Thelin again. I was hoping to go with something a little less expensive because the look of the stove in the family room is of less importance.
As for the white... its actually cream color and it never looks dirty. it get s a bit of dust and I use a damp paper towel to wipe it off but that usually when I am cleaning it out.

I guess the wife KNEW you'd be the one cleaning it....that's why she agreed to a very light color
