    I have replaced the door gasket on my Lopi Freedom wood insert just buying the by-the-foot stuff from the local stove shop, works great.

    If that gasket material is the correct size, it should work just fine. I used generic graphite rope gasket like that from the stove shop on my Astoria when I replaced it and no problems at all.

    Yeah I used the 1/2" black gasket from the dealer but was in TSC this week and noticed the Rutland 1/2" black package with the cement and was wondering if next time I could just use that. Thanks.
