Fire bricks Squire 1981

  • Active since 1995, Hearth.com is THE place on the internet for free information and advice about wood stoves, pellet stoves and other energy saving equipment.

We strive to provide opinions, articles, discussions and history related to Hearth Products and in a more general sense, energy issues.

We promote the EFFICIENT, RESPONSIBLE, CLEAN and SAFE use of all fuels, whether renewable or fossil.
A little more information might help. Whats the condition of the ones currently installed? Are the existing bricks original? A picture or two might help.

At this point it doesn't have any fire bricks. I thank you so much for your question. I just saw this this morning I am slammed with a wedding

If the stove was designed and built to have bricks up the side then I would think you should put them back to OEM. If you are asking should you add bricks that weren’t there when the stove built, that I can’t answer.
