I have noticed that my flame ht varies from low to high constantly. I have full adjustment for air intake meaning I can open it up to blow pellets out of the pot or choke it to create a lazy flame. So I don't think the problem is air. I am thinking that pellets this year are shorter than in previous years causing to over feed. I was thinking of lengthening my over cycle time which includes off and on auger time.
I base this on my assumption that I am feeding before the previous fed pellets have ignited than after a few feeds they ignite and burn up and then the process repeats.
I also noticed that I am using more pellets this year on the same settings as in previous years and I also have tried multiple brands.
Any ideas??
