After the last overheat when the power failed I called my Insurance company. Plumber's estimate for new everything was $2500. New line to the house installed $1800. The Ins is going to cover it so the question is do I fix it or call it good? I am leaning towards not fixing mainly because with the settlement and the 2.5 yrs on line I just break even. Next question, is there anything I can do with a #2500 greenwood furnace to just heat my shop.(24x48) When that thing was running the residual heat kept my shop at 70*. I don't suppose there is any way to run that thing without water and pumps? Short of scrapping it out I would be game to try any idea's.
Thanks
Doug
