Harman 52i Room Sense Issue after probe replacement - must ice probe for stove to run

Great forum! Used brain trust to get me to replace room sense probe on our Harman Elantra 52i. After doing so 4 blinks went away, but stove would shut off after 2 sec in room mode. Tried suggested test of putting room probe in ice. Voila! Fires up. Runs fine, but soon after removing probe from ice pellet feed stops.

Suggestions on next step(s)?
