Harman Oakwood Temperature

Does anyone know what temp, stove top temp, that the Oakwood should run at? I just inistalled one anc can't figure out what temp I should try to maintain.

Also at what temp should I engage the bypass damper?

Try checking in the main hearth forum, there are many members on here that own the Oakwood and they will be able to give you good advise.

I own the TL-300 which has the same combustion package as the Oakwood.
So my guess would be around 500 stove top would be a good operating temp.

Hopefully a mod will move this thread to the other forum and you will get more replies.
