We puchased a used profile 30 pellet stove 6 months ago. I has worked great with no problems for about 2 months now. The stove just shut down a couple night ago, we have unplugged it and the stove is not doing anything but showing “high” for the heat on the control board. We have checked wiring, and cleaned all possibl;e sources (ash box, photo eye and so on. Has anybody else had this problem. Does any one know if the stove has a reset button that will reset the stove? Please help

Most stoves have a high temperature limit snap disk switch that has a reset button. It trips under various supposed over firing situations.

In fact mine tripped for the fourth time last night.

There should be information in your manual that will show you where it is on your stove. There are other things such as a blown fuse that can also cause the same issue.
