What is the tool you measure the amount of draft you have called?
Is there one that you can install in your chimney to monitor it throughout burns?

A manometer. The Dwyer Mark II model 25 is the unit of choice among the coal burning set. You'll need to utilize metal brake line, copper tubing etc. to keep the hose away from the heat of your flue.

A Magnehelic with a suitable range will also work well, Randy

Manometers can be made at home with clear tubing and a board. Filled with water they measure inches of water. I made a set for work years ago to measure air pressure in aircraft fuel tanks.
