Ironically, I sent mine back today. It is a well built stove but just didn't work for us. I hope you love yours!

We wanted it to be a whole house heater and it couldn't do it from the basement where my old stove was and the rear clearance was too large to go where I can put a stove upstairs. I have nothing bad to say about the company or the stove and they were just as helpful with the return as they were with the sale. I think that says a lot.

Don't let my experience worry you. There are a lot of happy Woodstock owners on here for good reason.

Dr.Drew I've been waiting to see this post that you have ordered the stove. Congratulations and may it serve you well. I know you did a lot of research on this stove so you should rest in peach knowing that you got one of the very best stoves on the market.

    What color did you get?

We got ours almost a year ago. We are totally happy with the stove, the company, the service, the people. and that soapstone soft heat. Congratulations!

Burning mine right now on this cold rainy day, feels good.

I noticed Woodstock made some changes to their web site and it looks like they will have a blog and some videos soon. Also have a sign up for special pre-release pricing on the new stove. Can't wait to see the new stove.

dr.drew, if I get that way I will look you up. Maybe I'll ride my bike over that way some day but no beer if on bike. It makes the legs turn into rubber.
