    I grew up in Boulder, CO. There is a HUGE deer population in town and my house when I was about 20 was right next to an irrigation ditch (called a ditch but more like a small stream) that they loved to follow. I'd wake up some mornings and have to make my way through a dozen or more deer just to get to my car. They'd just stand there looking at me.
