It does make I look like a blast furnace
 
Snapping it in the dark room did make it look like a blast furnace
 
So day three and its -3 outside and a nice 72 in. The furnace never kicked on and I'm loving this stove. Tried a few bags of MWP mix and I'm not a fan. Lots of ash and load of crud in the fire pot. Trying their softwood next
 
I liked the softwood more. Burned much hotter for me, with about the same amount of ash.
 
I hope less! Not even 18 hours and I had to shut down to dump out the crud again. The first day with the Spurce pointes was next to nothing.
