Happen to come across this on youtube and it looked kind of interesting so i thought i'd share. I don't know what to make of it but there's no denying he's got a good fire going.

He says...."This is the most efficient wood stove on the planet it will make gasoline run a generator and a propane fridge, heats hot water and your home at the same time. this system works on any dry organic material."
 
Seems similar to the stuff that the Norwegians and others ran cars on

I'd make a bet that it's not very efficient if truly and accurately measured! He talks often about "heat being lost"......that's what is called "loss of efficiency".

I'd be very surprised if the actual collection of liquid from this was 20% efficient....
 
 
I recall viewing this video last year. His ingenuity at discovering the basics of refining on a simple homemade basis was intriguing. It's good that he is doing this outon the edge of the desert. Hope he hasn't blown anything up.
