i mean nothing by this but i wouldnt rely on your bailing skills for my boat unless you were knee deep next to me, as hopefully you feel the same
 
Back to the Sooteater, for about $60 (with extra rods) I can save $450 a year on chimney cleaning (3 chimneys x $150).

Yep... Works on something up to about 18" in diameter. Instructions show how and what to cut to make it fit your application.

No idea. I'm assuming it would. I bought it specifically so I don't have to get up on top of my very tall and steep roof (or pay someone to do it) and be able to do a bottom up cleaning.
