Is there a possibility of putting in a stove here in the basement?
I think there's room for another flue in the chase (there two in there now, one for oil and the middle for the insert.)
Some heating pipes are blocking the flue, but I just don't know if there's enough room.
How far can you go horizontal with a stove pipe? Probably not far.

Anyway, thanks for any insight.

Possibly, the flue could go up at a diagonal. Check for code distance requirements from the burner and oil tank. Not sure if there are any, but maybe.
