Jamestown Falls

Coming back from Tupper Lake New York we stopped at Jamestown Falls off route 56 on the south end of Carry Falls Reservoir and took some pictures.

1562 is a beaver dam PapaDave, I walked past it but my wife noticed it.

Beautiful pics Zap, looks like we need to go to camp this weekend. Beaver dams are pretty cool. We have a few that are so big on one of the inlets to the lake that we land the canoe on them, get out and portage over. Its pretty amazing how much water they can hold back.

Spliter I'm not sure what type of fish are there but it's worth a try. Solar it's amazing how well the beaver dams hold up. Jake I think with some of the winds we had early in the week plus the rain we lost some leaves but yes I thought the colors looked great.

Time the saws get placed in the back of the rhino and get back bucking, my plans are for Saturday and Sunday. Sugar Maple plus Beech that has been down also some Ironwood I found yesterday afternoon.
