   I bought a used Jotul 404 and in transport a part came out and I cannot figure out where it goes.
   
   It is about 6x4" and is concave and has a Jotul part # of J.ST.-6-8-165. It is cast iron. For the life of me I cannot figure out where it goes.

   I found a brand new 404 on craigslist. Oh is that tempting. They have the manual. Maybe you could see if they would send you a copy for a small compensation?
