I'm sooooo glad after much research and asking a ton of questions on here that I have decided to pull the trigger on my Kodiak 1700. It's finally here and we did a test run and it's wonderful..... "Winter is Coming"

Looking good MF. You and I will be in the same boat this winter with new Kodiaks.

Yes it was too hot. We suffered through the heat to bask in the glory of the test run :) my camera lense is messed up, I'll take a better pic of the hearth soon

Here's the old chimney door getting removed, the masonry being 're worked and stove installation

Can't wait for hubby to return from sea. I know he'll like the new insert.
