rad said:Lowes on Long Island NY lowered there pellet prices to meet home depots pellet price of 3.47. According to my store manager at that price they were loosing .10 a bag. Home depot stopped selling them for the season and Lowes raised there prices back to 5.97 a bag. The only box store on L.I. that I no of now is lowes of Medford which got 1150 bags on Wednesday at $5.97. I just happened to be there when thet came in.

The bag they bought at True Value Hardware cost them $7.00! Ouch! Someone at the store lied and said they would last about a third longer.
