    got bored made a few scabbards today...nothing fancy...cardboard and duct tape...ran out of duct tape on the 460 scabbard..

    Orange duct tape would look pretty cool >> Not as easy to find as the red,silver or yellow.Least around here anyway.

    just got back from the store..i bought another roll of the flame duct tape..and a roll of orange duct tape

    Flame duct tape? ;lol Nice. I'm betting the materials cost more than the actual scabbard would have. IIRC they were a couple $$ each.

    materials was 3.00 and i could make about 5 more with the roll of tape i bought..

    Great idea. It's good to keep the chain covered, keep it sharp when hauling the saw around & saves you a few nick & cuts on body parts & clothing.
    If you get the cardboard wet, remember to remove it when you get home so it can dry out & not rust the bar & chain ;)
