Napoleon 1402 Primary air control problems

The sliding primary air control on my insert is very difficult to adjust. It was hung a bit on the pallet, but did not appear to be bent or damaged other than a scratch around the "3" on the control. Any ideas or suggestions?

Hey wooderson, sounds like you need to contact whoever you bought the stove from. I had the little brother to the 1402 (1101) and that was never an issue. How ling have you had the insert?
