It may be Air Jet pipe.
It would be best to replace that chimney if you can. It’s not properly installed through the roof, and it very old. Why are you needing a replacement piece?

I wanted to extend it to get a better draft. right now it is only 11’ long from the stove and it’s not above the peak of the garage

The fact that it is air cooled is going to hurt draft allot as well.

Supervent a good replacement?
Sure, there’s nothing wrong with it. There’s easier to use products with more attractive components out there, but the price goes up.

There’s a lot of good products out there. Will you be installing it yourself? If so, probably super vent. For starters it’s cheaper, also you can buy what you think you’ll need, then go back for more if needed, or return extras. I assume you’ve got a big box store close by that carries it?

Supervent works well and is readily available at Lowes and Menards.

Yes I’ll be doing it myself...we have a Lowes about 20 mins away. Looks like I’ll go with super vent then

Ceiling support box, attic insulation shield (if there’s an attic) stovepipe adaptor, cap, roof brace kit if it’s more than 5’ out of the roof.
I just noticed you said it’s for a garage stove. Might check with your insurance before you get too involved, they rarely cover stoves in a garage.
