Good morning,

We just moved into a house with a Hearth E36 fireplace. No glass doors or blower on it. What are my options besides replacing it to get more efficiency out it? Would think glass doors are one thing but can I get a blower fan for it?

This model does not have the option for adding a blower. You CAN add glass doors, but it you want to get heat from this unit, you won't be able to do it.
Even with glass doors closed, it's not an airtight firbox & nearly ALL the heat from the wood with be evacuated thru the chimney pipe.
If you want heat, replace it with a an EPA-Rated wood burning fireplace or install a small woodstove in front of it & vent it thru an insulated stainless steel liner
located within the existing chimney pipe. You may want to check with your local building/fire inspector to see if a woodstove installed in this fashon meets fire
code in your area.
