P68 Domestic Hot Water Coil?

Hi all. I saw that the Harman P68 has a Domestic Hot Water Coil option. In theory would it be possible to have it installed and have a closed loop system bring it down to my boiler and have it plumbed in? Would be nice to be able to use the pellet stove as an add on to the boiler while also getting that nice flame show

Any ideas?

It does??? I've never heard, or seen anything mentioned about that before, and don't remember seeing anything about that on the Harman site. Please provide web link...I'd like to look at that.

Ya know what, I think I've got my model's mixed up here. LOL. I could have sworn I saw something that said domestic hot water coil, but maybe I'm confusing it with one of the boilers... ? I feel like an idiot. LOL

There is one for the PC45 available. But I think its aftermarket.

rona may have more info and maybe you could adapt it to the P68????

NAH, They would rather sell you there $6K PB 100 that has burnpot warping issues! No thank you!

OP I can post some pictures if you want. I can also send info by PM if needed. We will get some flack here for anything put on by an aftermarket supplier! IMO If all the safeties are maintained and the stove is out of warranty, Whats the big deal as long as it is kept safe!

I had a guy install a homemade one on his p38... I told him when he approached me about doing it that it would void all wtty... that being said, he says it works great!
