I have a 2002 St. Croix Pepin stove... analog controls... pretty simple.

Results from my first bag of Bear Mountain pellets...

9 ounces of ash... heat results... 240F on setting #1.... 260F on setting #2.... 275F on setting #3. I used a glass candy thermometer measured at the center of the heat exchanger.

The ash is very light and fluffy. I got 22 hours of run time on one bag. Setting the stove mostly on #1, the house was 74F in temps around the high teens at night and mid-30's during the day.

All told these are the best pellets I've ever used... bar none. I believe they are priced at $235/ton right now at my local dealer.

Your mileage may vary.

Krooser,

Another thanks for your report.

Now . . . . .How about sharing some more car photos ( and stories) from your wild youth . . . or adulthood . . . . .either . . . .

Many pelletheads are also motorheads.
