QuadraFire 1200i 2008. Stove turns on and the first initial blower turns on for about 5 seconds then shuts off. Call light is on and the control box is lighting/seems to be in working order. Blower comes back on again ten seconds later and it just keeps doing that. Fire doesn’t start.

Always unplug the stove when you do anything with the wiring. Turn thermostat down to lowest setting. Now unplug the stove wait 30 seconds then plug back in. Exhaust blower should run for 12 min. Blue light in control box should flash 1 time every 10 seconds for a 60 second period. Do any other lights come on?

That worked. Thanks!

Biggest mistake that most people make is not unplugging the stove before fiddling with the wiring or the control board. Keep in mind that it's line voltage in there and it can be fatal.

Second biggest mistake is no surge suppressor and third is not disconnecting both the stove and remote thermostat over the warm months and then when it gets cold and they turn on the stove and find the control board has fried over the summer from a close by electrical storm (which incidentally happened to me).
