Hey everyone,
My Father has a quadra fire 1000 we noticed that the fire was becoming lazy and the flame was well over the 2"-4" good burn level. which was causing the stove to shut down. the red and green indicator lights were coming on. So we tried to adj the fan on the left side as instructed...no change.
While jumping the #1 snap disk to make the convection fan stay on we blew the fuse. :( we changed the fuse and the same problem was occurring so we jumped the second snap disk.(we put the 1st snap disk back together first, only one snap disk was jumped at a time)
The fire was high but ran longer than the 20 min cycle we were getting. we ran it for about an hour and the system shut off no shut down just dead now nothing.

Snap disc #3 shuts whole stove down if stove gets too hot. They usually have a reset button on them. Dirty stove and exhaust path, dirty firepot holes, dirty exhaust fan, convection fan dirty or not coming on are some options to check on. kap
