I have a defaint for sale in the articles for sale section.
I have not heard from anyone interested . Its been listed for a few weeks.
I also dont see any replies on any other listings, in that section.
Would I be better off trying ebay, Or am I missing something?

craigslist locally and eBay. And put a way for people to contact you and a location where the stove is in the ad. "New Jersey" covers a little bit of ground.

PS: There is no "reply" function in that section.

A lot of people have sold stuff from our classified...but they have to PM you, email you or call if you have a phone listed....as BB says, there is no reply area online.

I concur with BB that eBay and Craigslist are very good also - have big audiences....
