well, since brother bart nixed my aspirations of putting a stove in the fireplace extending onto the hearth.....it looks like i'm stuck with an insert.
i'm looking for recommendations for a mid-large insert(2500 sq. ft.) with QUIET blowers. any thoughts?

Dang it Bruce I didn't nix it. The mason that built that fireplace opening too short did. ;-P
