Not shoes, but I do have a few items that are that old. My firearms are close to being that old. Got some things that are even older than that.

The oldest footwear I had finally came apart while I was out picking blackberries this summer those boots were bought sometime in the 1990's.

Happy birthday OMV... 44 ain't old.

As for the young age comments. I am quite proud of where I am in my life. Looking back 14 yrs, I would have never guessed that all my life would have been as good as it is now.

Dex, I think all us old farts are a bit jealous of ya! ;)

44 isn't that old, neither is 50. But it sure feels it some days. Hell, I'll never grow up, But my back, knees and neck tell me everyday that I am not as young as I think I am. Specially when I'm tring to keep up with my teenager!

I have two I bought new in 71 and one in 72. I also have some ones that were used.

I don't use them except for predator and vermin control these days.

53 as of last Friday. Most days I'm glad I feel younger. Guns twice my age and plan on using one this weekend. Deer season is a religious holiday in WI. Why not carry the gun that almost single handedly exterminated the buffalo (not that I approve of that), an obsolete caliber that gun writers have written off time and time again the 45-70
What was this thread about again???;em

Shoots as true as the day it was built. Hard to get a 405 grain bullet to turn sideways almost as big around as it is long.;lol
