I have been chasing a leak in my supervent chimney pipe installed this year, I finally found that it is leaking down the outside seam of the pipe has anybody else had this problem ? what did you do to fix it ? Thanks !

My install leaked down a seam at first. The installer had only ran a bead of silicone halfway up the seam on the section of pipe that was in the attic and outside the roof above the storm collar. Finishing the bead all the way up the seam fixed the leak.
