Small wood stove using bio bricks vs pellet stove

got me wondering. How would a small wood stove using bio bricks compare to a pellet stove in terms of cost, maintenance, overall use compare?

This would depend on the efficiency of the small stove and the cost of the fuel. Run properly it would certainly be much lower maintenance and quieter.

Lower maintenance and lower cost maintenance...as in when something fails on a Harmon pellet it IS expensive.
