I would have to put it at number one for this season... wind is crazy and 16 degrees in southern nh... Went outside to get some wood and my finger tips were close to frostbite (fingerless wool gloves) with in 5 minutes. Nice to know the outside doors are shut for the night.

Really nasty here also. The wind is beating on everything. The dogs go out just long enough to take care of business. And Mr. Arthur Ritis is making his presence known. Hope the satellite doesn't go out.

I was wondering the same thing where did this one come from. The wind is blowing, with snow flurries, and it is bitter cold tonight.

I have a kick-ass experiment brewing tonight at my house. These cold temps are a perfect time for it. I will post results tomorrow!

This is the backside winds from the storm that hit Boston up through Maine.

Wind chills are down to -5::F here already with 22-25 MPH gusts.

Somersets are in the stove already. :)

Weatherman said that the storm that is out to see is bigger than Nemo was. Would be a category 2 hurricane if it was summer ~ glad it "missed" us.

    On this February 2nd, 2013,
the One Hundred and Twenty Seventh Annual Trek of the
Punxsutawney Groundhog Club at Gobbler’s Knob….

Punxsutawney Phil, the King of the Groundhogs,
Seer of Seers, Prognosticator of Prognosticators,
    Weather Prophet without Peer,
was awakened from his borrow at 7:28 am
with a tap of the President’s cane.

Phil and President Deeley conversed in Groundhogese
and Phil directed him to the chosen Prognostication scroll.

The President tapped the chosen scroll and
    directed Phil’s Prediction be proclaimed:

My new Knob entrance is a sight to behold
Like my faithful followers, strong and bold

    And so ye faithful,
there is no shadow to see
An early Spring for you and me.

    YOU'RE FIRED Phil!

Yup wind chill of -7F here 20 miles south of Boston. La Cretes in the hoppa
and it's 75F in the living room. I screwed up and left the plow touchpad controller
on yesterday and went out to plow and click click click goes the battery.
Brother yanked it for me and it's on the charger. 13 years I've had this setup
and this is the first time I made this mistake. Hopefully the last.

It's 20 degrees in central CT right now. I had my stove on level 3 (out of 5). The living room got up to 76, and I had to turn it down to level 2. I love my pellet stove!
