I’m thinking of purchasing a stove top fan that operates off heat. Anyone use one and what kind / brand ? Do they work ok?

They are more of a gadget than really effective. I have one off of Amazon. I don't think there is much difference between different brands and models.
My elderly neighbor though, lived in a very small cottage, and he claims it works great moving heat to the kitchen area. In my 825 sqft basement it is not noticeable.
