Stove top fan?

Anyone here have any experience with these stove top fans, the ones that do not have any electrical wires? Do they work to move hot air? If they work, is there a brand that is best? Anyone know of good internet dealers to get one from? I have seen one called a Heat Wave and another one called an Ecofan, are there others?
