Dear Tapatalk friends, I am thinking of eventually dropping support for the tapatalk program on Hearth.com. The reasons are many - but, basically, from a technical viewpoint - tapatalk (a small chinese company) ends up having access to 100% of our data and rebroadcasting it. That's a security nightmare because they aren't google - just a small private company. In effect, we are trusting them with full administration privileges and more! The ONLY reason we installed tapatalk last year was because the existing forum "theme" was not compatible with smaller screens. A month ago we updated the forum so that most of the features should automatically fix on most any screen. Tapatalk is used by about 35 of our visitor daily - out of a total of 15,000 unique daily visitors. Still, I know it may be important and useful for many of you, which is why I am not just yanking it but rather asking you to try something else and comment here..... So, if you would, could you please try the site in a regular browser and let me know your comments here? I think most parts (other than banner ads) should automatically resize. I may even be able to fix the banner ad issue. Thanks!
