Found this photo of in my mind what winter is supposed to look like. According to photo info this was take on US 495 in Garrett County MD the end of December. How I would love to live up there. I was in Garrett County Saturday and all that snow is pretty much gone. Only thing left is where it drifted along the roads.

It was warmer on Mt. Washington yesterday than it was in parts of AZ (48F). Crazy. Looks like it will get cold again before all mys snow is melted.

Still have'nt gotten any 'normal' amount of snow around here.
As far as the ice rink comment goes, we have the same thing around here now. Gotta be real careful getting into or out of the vehicle...or else you end up doing the splits!

Its a nice place to visit but even better to live there. Its ok in the summer but in the winter its a paradise for the winter weather lover. Only live 25 miles away and only get up there once of twice a year at the most. I would love to have a house up there on a hill in the middle of a field where the snow drifts would be over my head. Yea I know I'm nuts. Only thing is you better work from home or be able to call in sick when you get a big snow with wind because you won't be going anywhere.
