If I load the stove around 9:30-10, when I get home at ~8AM the stove is still going strong where I don't need to put wood it in.
 
When burning 24/7, I pack the Quad @ 10:30 - 11 and don't see it again untill 6:30 it has no problem keeping a moderate 300 °F ish temp through the night.

Edit; I have the pellet stove running as well to keep the room temps up.
 
I was filling up our Regency I3100 around 9-9:30 then closing it down around 1/2 later and going to bed. Mormaly wake up around 5-5:30 and load it up again with lots of nice hot coals/embers. Love the large firebox!

We do have a propane furnace that is set to kick in at 64 at nights, but unless it's lower than -20C out it never does.
