Today when I lit my pellet stove everything seemed to be going fine until I changed the power setting. It starts to make this annoying vibrating sound (almost like an out of control washing machine dryer). The pellet stove works fine on power setting 1 and 2 but when you go any higher than that the pellet stove makes that horrible sound. Is it the motor? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It might be a build up of ash on the combustion blower, or of dust on the convection blower fan(s).

Mine is a different make but similar problem. I'm pretty sure I found the cause today. The fan seems to have distorted and turning slowly I can see the gap to the side changes.as it rotates. I think I need a new fan.
