I came across a used Buck 91 insert on craigslist. I'm going to go take a look at it. Says its 7 years old. Guy is asking $800.

Any bad problems or issues I need to look out for on this 91?

Main things would be if the stove was abused.... Are parts that should be black, white from heat? Is it the original catalyst in the stove or has it been replaced? How did they run the stove?

In all, without ever operating one, I've read a lot of good on the units. That said, it's just a matter of you knowing how the previous owner used the stove and if you are now comfortable putting that used unit into the fireplace you have to work with.
