I am having trouble finding any information about my Vigilant 1A being UL listed. There are no obvious markings on the stove and after some searching on the site I have not found any definitive information. It is a question the insurance company wants to know. Thanks.

Look on the back of the stove, down low. Thee should be a plate riveted on there, couple inches high, maybe 12" long. It'll have whatever info. you're gonna get. Could have been painted over, may be missing, but it WAS there. Frankly, I'm not sure. Not all stoves were U.L. tested in 1977, so it may not have that approval.
