i noticed the walls in my stove wet after a severely heavy extremely windy rain the flue was fully closed is this normal? does anyone else see this? am i worried about nothing or is this a problem? thanks

Is this in a cold stove or shortly after starting up a fire?

It's just moisture condensing on the cold stove walls. Nothing to worry about.

Yep, I've seen that too. Make sure your wood is dry and that it's not the source of too much moisture. But even with dry wood, there is still 15% or so that's got to go somewhere. It condenses on the cold stove back until it's warmed up.

It surprised me when I first saw it too.
