I do a thorough cleaning of my P 23 twice a year. Once at the end of the year and once in the middle of the burning season.

When I have the blower motors and the auger motor out for the cleaning, should they be lubed? If so, is a light oil like 3 in 1 or 20w what I should use?

They are so expensive to replace that I want to get maximum life out of them.

Thanks for your responses.

Oh, and bubbleboy, the Trivial Pursuit answer is "the moops".

There are a lot of posts that you can research on this forum that will help you on cleaning a Breckwell. P-23 is probably the best model that Breckwell makes. The P-23 seems to have the least service calls of the Breckwell family. At least in my opinion. Just remember surge protector and unplug it in the off season.
