Wood fired oven- Calzones round 2

I haven't made calzones since July or so. Pretty nice afternoon, t-shirt weather in the waning afternoon sun.

Pepperoni and cheese. Nice thinner crust, great flavor.



I have the timing down that when I start the oven, I can make fresh dough and let it rise for an hour and the oven will be ready by then. I could have cooked at least 4-6 more as I had it really hot tonight.

Dang you, wow that looks good. Pizza oven is on my to do list although it may be a few years

Dammit Jon, now I gotta growling stomach. I can't get enough of that oven. Totally awesome!

Keep those pics coming. I'm thinking about doing a wing-night on the pit here in the next week or two. Some adult beverages and maybe 6 to 8 dozen wings.......heck it's been warm enough, I don't see any real winter weather in sight. Now if the damn rain would just quit for a couple of days to dry my swampy back yard out.....

I wish you wouldn't have posted that...I want one soooo badly!!

I have to make more this weekend for the wife's b-day party. Barbecue chicken and a ham and cheese come to mind.

My brother likes to tell me when he had to deal with a customer the other day who's breath smelled like he just ate the ass out of a dead skunk! That is some bad breath.
