Wanted to share some pictures of this years work around my lot, and wanted to thank everyone for the wisdom I've received as I enter my 3rd season WB. I currently have around 11 full cords c/s/s, this is just my estimate. I need to measure the full length, width and height and feed that info into a cord calculator. This summer was about 4 cords processed.

-Processed several large dead standing tress on our shared driveway that were in close proximity to our shared powerlines (neighbors got a pro to drop it and I split wood for them, also got some of my own).

-Had about 50 maple tress taken this year when my land was logged, been cutting some tops..

-Also processed some dead stuff of my own lot..

-Got a hand me down 9' x 4' trailer that is going to get better side walls in the future so it can haul more wood in my "redneck wagon train".

-Also have some pictures in there from my dads house, Emerald ash borer killed 12 of his White Ash Trees, we took about 20 8' logs to a local mill to be sawn and kilned. Rest of the wood was turned into firewood.

Neat pics and looks like you will get some good use out of those milled boards as well. One word of caution - that trailer looks to be built with a light duty axle (prob about a 1000 pound limit). Better side boards just might cause a premature death to it. ;)

Thanks jags. The tires are suspect and looking into replacements in the 4.8 X 8 size I'm seeing load rating C, like 700lb or so... Yea I don't want to kill the axle, and if I had beefier sides I have to make sure to not overload it.

Have you ever tried to backup in the redneck wagon train?

Ahhah! Nope I have not. I plan to unhitch the splitter or make a giant loop. It turns surprisingly well though.

This is the trailer receiver on the rear of the trailer Woodpile grows. Wanted to thank everyone for the wisdom I've recieved as I enter my 3rd season WB

Loving the Redneck Wagon Train.
