I am looking at getting a Nova2 stove and people are liking them with only complaint of getting smoke out of the door on reload even after following all the factory instructions (open bypass and wait a while). Would insulated stove pipe vs single wall improve that issue? My install would have the minimum stack of 6" insulated.

Insulated flue can help keep the exhaust hot, improving draft. This can help reduce smoke rollout. Make sure your chimney is tall enough.

Firewood without a low enough moisture content can also cause this.

There are several variables affecting draft. Adequate height is one, but so are chimney location, flue insulation, # of turns in the flue path, flue gas temperature, outside temperature, room pressure, etc.
