Its supposed to be in the mid 20s in this area after being almost 60 this past weekend. Both stoves are going right now and will go for the next few days. Got some Cherry, locust and maple in the 30.
Here too. Can't break out of the high 40s, low 50s in the daytime and high twenties, low thirties at night. The past two years we hit 90 in the first week of April. I had gotten used to starting the season in late November and ending in March. Whoops. Started early and ending late this year.
I am glad to see it's not just here. We are forecast to get 6 inches of snow on the weekend. Hopefully they are wrong with this one. We received 3 inches of wet stuff yesterday. Spring O spring, where are you?

Even colder last night . . . I was reading a story about an older sledder who had the sled roll on top of him around Wallagrass, trapping him overnight in about 6 inches of water and they said the temps were around 11 degrees. Said the guy may have some hypothermia and frostbite.
I am right on the left field foul pole. Already determined if that slob hits one out and I get my hands on it, it's goin' back to 3rd base, hopefully just as he is rounding it
Nope. Just making conversation. The fact that a lot of artic sea ice melted last summer is not disputed. And some folks think that that perturbs the normal seasonal motion of the jet stream in the N. Hemisphere, which is responsible for the abrupt switch in weather that we commonly describe with the romantic term 'spring'.
I agree with WoodGeek, We have had a very rough years in the past few years. NYC had tornadoes and hurricanes in October. This may be normal, but I havent seen it in almost 30 years of living in NY.
