1984 Lopi Answer Question

I hope you can answer this question about an Answer.

I have friends that have a Lopi Answer. The sticker shows it was made in 1984. They don't know what the knob on the front of the stove in the upper right does. Can you tell me what the controls?

Looks like the air control
 
There is a air damper control at the bottom of the stove in the center. I'm used to that with Lopi stoves. I don't know what the control does on the upper right
 
Does it have a flue bypass damper?

Hard to tell from the picture. On my Lopi 520 that is for the air wash. I never close it so the wood never smolders or have those smoke explosions from shutting the primaries down to soon.
